The ICTP-Simons Sabbaticals programme offers scientists the opportunity to spend an extended period of six months at the ICTP.
This residency allows researchers to fully dedicate themselves to their research work, free from the usual administrative and teaching responsibilities at their home institutions. In addition to fostering deep academic engagement, these extended visits also provide valuable opportunities for networking and collaboration.

Who can apply
Scientists who hold a PhD and are working in developing countries.Interested candidates are recommended to consult with the relevant research section of the ICTP before submitting their application.
